2019 – Released after serving 8 months of a 10-23 month sentence.
3/12/2022 – Seen drinking on surveillance video, gets in a car and crashes. Found to have watery, bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and failed a field sobriety test. Taken to a DUI processing unit where she refused a blood test.
Now if this was you or I, especially with an existing criminal record as she carries, can you guess what would happen? Well, here is what would not happen.
12/19/2022 – A Lackawanna County judge acquitted her after a bench trial (no jury).
Laws for Thee and not for Me. In PA refusing a breathalyzer or other testing is grounds for an automatic DUI, consent is implied. Who was this judge? And are they up for re-election soon?
