It’s a big club and you ain’t in it.
While we cannot help you get into that club, we can help you understand the dynamics of our current social structure through a lens of looking at news and events. Real solutions to our current predicament can only be achieved through a proper education. While that does not mean that you need to get a PhD in political science or sociology, you must learn to recognize the powers that pull the strings and the media manipulation as it happens.
When the average person puts civics as their highest priority, only then will this world change for the better. An educated populace is the dictator’s greatest enemy. And though many think, “this can never happen today,” remember that North Korea, Iran, and many other totalitarian states exist, and today. Europe saw two dictators responsible for more than 40 million deaths (Hitler and Stalin) a mere 80 years ago. Your parents, grandparents or great grandparents were there to see it. A time frame that encompasses a mere blink of an eye in the context of human history. It can happen today, it can happen tomorrow. All it takes is the slow bleeding of our fundamental rights in the name of security, and just one bad crisis or election.
