Adding to the list of journalists who have had their rug pulled, James O’Keefe joins the exclusive club, though fortunately alive (for now). We wish him the best in continuing his mission to expose the truth. Though one could paraphrase I would say this is one of those speeches you should watch in entirety. The current articles in the mainstream media are already painting it as some sort of an insider squabble, meanwhile, James makes it profoundly clear that there is much more to the story than that. In this world there are few coincidences, and to see him booted shortly after breaking the biggest story in the history of Project Veritas makes it difficult to accept an alternate hypothesis.

With that in mind, it would not be prudent to accept anything at face value. Here is the response by Project Veritas:

Ultimately as it is a 501(c)3 the financials will be at the scrutiny of the public, and if the board is forthcoming they will release the details to back up their claim, not just these figures. When you are the CEO of an organization such this, it is fairly trivial to rack up expenses in such a manner, and there are few organizations which do not spend a portion of their revenue on entertainment, flights, and vehicles. I would heavily question why the creature, angry at where its head is going, chose to decapitate itself. Project Veritas is nothing without O’Keefe. And the decisions that have been made regarding how to go about this do not paint the picture of attempting to save itself. This alone is the biggest detractor when it comes to the credibility of the board.

Until more information is released it is hard to make a comprehensive assessment, it will be interesting to see this unfold.
